True Voice believes every nonspeaking person has a message worth hearing and sharing with the world. At True Voice, we partner with nonspeaking, minimal, and unreliable speakers, their families, and educators using the Spellers Method to unlock authentic communication and support meaningful, autonomous expression.

Through one-on-one sessions, tutoring, parent/caregiver coaching, trainings and collaboration, True Voice helps families and support networks better understand, value, and support apraxic, nonspeaking, minimal, and unreliable speakers to express their full selves.

Stephanie Answer is a Spellers Method Provider based in Kansas City, Missouri. She is passionate about expanding access to spelling for nonspeaking and minimally speaking individuals, with a focus on equity, inclusion, and meaningful communication for families. Through True Voice, Stephanie partners with spellers and their families using a calm, empathetic approach that centers presuming competence, empowering communication partners, and supporting each individual’s confidence and autonomy.

MY STORY & APPROACH

One-on-One Sessions

Personalized one-on-one sessions for spellers, with integrated coaching and support for their parent, caregiver, or chosen communication partner.

Intensives

Focused series of one-on-one sessions scheduled over a short period of time. This is an excellent option for spellers and families who travel from out of town or who would like a deep dive experience.

Tutoring

One‑on‑one tutoring for AAC users and individuals with limited speech, focusing on age‑appropriate academics and enriching co‑curricular topics.

Consultations

Personalized consultation sessions for those interested in learning about Spellers Method.
